Under the hood it looks like it’s 1973 all over again, and with good reason. The 350 cubic-inch V8 was rebuilt around 3,000 miles ago. So not only does it fire up on command, but also you’ll instantly notice it has a bigger rumble than most Z/28 you know. That’s because the motor has been enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Torker intake, and long tube headers. So while 1973 was the Camaro’s last stand as a true muscle car, this one makes sure it represents that heritage with an extra hit of power. But more than just brute force, this Z is a great driver with features such as power steering, front disc brakes, TH400 three-speed automatic, and versatile 3.42 rear end.
