2001 Chevrolet Camaro SS Earnhardt Edition When Dale Earnhardt Sr. decided to create a modern-day Camaro based on early muscle cars, it was only natural that he dubbed it the ‘SS Intimidator’. Factory 2001 SS Camaros were shipped to GMMG Enterprises in Marietta, GA for modification to Dale’s specifications. They were then returned to Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC for exclusive distribution. GMMG was to have built 100 SS Intimidators, all to have been signed by Dale Sr.
