The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro has a cool style

Style that takes the factory full-blue presentation and adds nice driver details like an updated small block V8 and an overdrive transmission. So as you look over the details, you soon realize this is quite a cool classic cruiser.

It’s hard to resist a Camaro in its original shade of Nantucket Blue. It was a color only available in the Camaro’s inaugural year, and they took extra care with a recent professional respray of this distinctive paint. So it has a fresh luster and shine. Overall, the coupe has a very clean and stock look with impressive details like smooth lines, uniform gaps, clean glass, and mirror-like chrome that make this an iconic coupe. The VIN tells us this was born a V8 car, and so you can understand the sporty details, like the D80 rear spoiler and dual exhaust tips. And while we all love the classic look of the Rally wheel package, upgrading them to Z28-style 15-inch units really fills the arches better.

The blue interior is a particularly nice look against the blue exterior. It gives this coupe a harmonious style that represents the 1960s well, and the trim tag says this was born that way. Plus, there was an investment in upholstery, headliner, dash pad, and door panels so there’s a quality feel within the vintage style. You may choose to update/service some details, like the factory air conditioning, speedo, or add a stereo, but what this really offers from day one is a proper driver’s experience. You have low-back front bucket seats, a center console with floor shift, a grippy three-spoke steering wheel, and upgraded digital readouts that have a cool blue glow to go with the rest of the car.

The engine bay has the clean look of a solid investment. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is a later addition that’s well presented with its bright orange paint, shining valve covers, and matching air grabber. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor and a Summit intake. And long tube headers let it exhale with added power and a nice tune from the dual exhaust. Power Steering, power brakes, rear traction bars, and wide BF Goodrich T/As give it a good feeling on the road. Plus, the upgrade to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission means good radios and highway-ready overdrive for a better all-around cruiser.
