Defrost, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player, Heat, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering Under the hood is Chevrolet’s trusty and powerful 327 cubic-inch V8. It’s dressed nicely with the correct Chevy orange paint on the block and intake. There’s even some nice flash with the bright air cleaner and valve covers. No outrageous add-ons, just the cool factory-style 327 stickers in a well maintained package. So the overall impression is the same kind of period-correct honesty that also gets those cool vintage gauges attention. But like any good Camaro, it has a nice performance streak. The headers and H-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust provide an extra dose of power and a healthy rumble to the soundtrack. But even with an intimidating hum, this coupe has some nice anytime driving features like power steering and the Powerglide automatic transmission.
