The Muncie M20 4-speed is topped by a Hurst cue ball in the center of a genuine GM center console, so it has a highly finished look inside. With a manual gearbox and a snarling V8 up front, there’s not much need for additional distractions, but the original AM radio’s there in the dash with an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit neatly stashed in the glove box. The trunk is filled with a new mat and a handy full-sized spare. We have lots of details on the engine, which is gnarly enough to be a legitimate threat, but not so high strung that it’s no fun on the street. Starting with a 4-bolt main block, it was stuffed with a SCAT crank, GMPP connecting rods and set of Keith Black 10.6:1 flat-top pistons. Up top, there’s a pair of World Products heads that have been ported and polished, and fed by an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 4-barrel carburetor.
