It’s a 327 cubic-inch V8 upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are the right supporting components, like a Pertronix Flame Thrower distributor, Powermaster starter, an electric fan, and upgraded pulleys. Even the details were taken care of, like stainless steel brake lines, a newer stainless gas tank, Detroit Engineering multi-leaf rear shackles, and added Hotchkis frame supports. The V8 fires up nicely, and you take firm control with the Muncie four-speed manual transmission. It makes for a great driving classic that’s furthered by power brakes with front discs and modern Nexen tires.
