This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS tribute is an awesome build with a bold style and serious big block upgrade
It makes for the kind of coupe that can really live up to your love for this legend.
A bold shade of yellow is a great way to grab attention. It has a good gloss and shine that comes from an upgrade later in life. This is a big power machine, and it shows through those US Mags alloys with an 18/20-inch front/rear forward-leaning stance. Plus there are right classic SS pieces, including the badging and full-width rear spoiler. And the racing stripe package, grille, rear panel, and deep chin spoiler coordinate in black, which always looks awesome against a bright yellow. It all makes for quite a stand-out street machine.
When you open the doors, you’re greeted with a well-done black interior which goes well with the exterior accents. The headliner, carpeting, and upholstery have the right look of dark quality. There are nice factory-style details like the headrests, and there are also worthwhile upgrades like an AM/FM/cassette stereo. A good Camaro was meant to be enjoyed. That’s why you have front bucket seats, a center console in-between, the horseshoe shifter, Sunpro auxiliary gauges under the dash, and a second-gen style sports steering wheel.
The smooth and dark inner walls of the engine bay funnel your attention to the bold big block in the middle. The presentation is attractive with the polished Chevrolet valve covers, Chevy orange block, and overall tidiness. The 454 cubic-inch V8 offers a street-dominating displacement. Plus, this has been upgraded further with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor w/electric choke, an Assault Racing aluminum intake, and long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust and thrush mufflers. There’s even an aluminum radiator to help keep the full package running cool. Subframe connectors, a 12-bolt rear end, and the wide modern sport tires are there to provide stout performance. And the three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, front discs make this easier to enjoy on the streets.
