Lots of chrome means you’ll be opening the hood every chance you get and hardware upgrades include the aluminum radiator, HEI ignition, and a newer brake booster and master cylinder. The engine was painted Chevy orange to keep a correct profile and let the brightwork do the showing off, but the internals are built for combat. A heavy-duty TH400 3-speed automatic doesn’t mind the torque churning through it and the 12-bolt rear uses highway friendly gears for modern road manners.
