Super solid car, painted in 2012 time frame with a new hood. At the same time, new slotted/drilled rotors were installed as well as rear calipers, interior was freshened up and all new weatherstripping was installed. Also, new wheels and tires were installed. Shortly after it was completed and on the road, the engine blew a head gasket and sat for several years before being recently completely rebuilt and re-installed. Super solid structure with what appears to be the original quarters, rockers, fenders and doors. Very little body filler in rear lower quarters and rocker area in front of wheels and bottom corner of doors. Floors, frame and trunk (although trunk did have some moisture in it) are all solid with no known holes. The subrames do have a frame tie that links the front and rear subrame to help support during intense driving. Bottom of the doors are super solid. Only one spot of rust is on the lower driver’s side door and the door seam. There is a chip in the middle of the passenger door (about .250″) and there is a chip a the edge of the passenger door where it meets the fender (on the edge, and about .750″ long by .125″ approx.). Both are touched up with the original paint, but do show. Driver’s side door weatherstripping is missing. Paint shines well. Very strong engine. Completely built with a cam, solid lifters and performance pistons (over $6,000). Serpentine belt set-up was installed to replace the outdated v-belt system. Runs and drive extremely strong. Rear end is a 10 bolt posi setup. Air shocks are installed in the rear with standard shocks on the front. Interior Interior is presentable, but to be nice, should be replaced. The door panels are scratched and peeling in some cases, the driver’s side seat is split in the seat panel and there are numerous small cracks in the front seats. The stereo is inoperable as well as the windshield wipes and heater blower motor. Windshield and Rear Window is fogged some around the edges. Interior lights do not work. Car runs super strong and is ready to drive now. However, I would bleed the brakes and go thru the lighting (headlights, taillights, turn signals, dash/courtesy/dome lights, etc to make sure they are working. The car would make a great toy to cruise or could be a super track SCCA Car.
