the date-code-correct L35 396 cubic inch V8 was rated at 325 horsepower, which is enough to make this lightweight convertible insanely fast on the street. It was rebuilt to stock specs and detailed to compete on the show field with correct Chevy Orange paint and all its original hardware. Accurate finishes were used throughout, including the chrome valve covers and air cleaner, which wears a reproduction decal. A TH400 3-speed automatic transmission spins a 12-bolt rear, all of which were included with the big block V8 for durability’s sake. It’s as highly detailed underneath as it is everywhere else, including spotless floors, a correct exhaust system with transverse muffler, spiral shocks, and correct finishes on all the suspension components. The look is finished with a set of factory Rally wheels and BFG radials.
